Tahir, 22, who was critically injured in the first of the five explosions that rocked the capital Sep 13, succumbed to his injuries Sunday, raising the death toll to 25, a doctor said. Tahir suffered multiple splinter injuries when a powerful bomb exploded in the busy Gaffar market area in Karol Bagh. He was admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital.
